innovation approach
‘The Raptor competition helps implement innovative, feasible, and impactful pilots. The goal is both to build a better city, as well as to encourage the expansion and consolidation of new and disruptive solutions.‘
‘The Childfy app is highly valued as a solution to the traffic congestion experienced at school entrances and exits. The app was proposed by the Municipality of Cascais, and its implementation is expected to provide an effective solution to this long-standing problem.’
– Bernardo Correia, Pedagogical Director of the Salesianos de Manique school.
‘RAPTOR gave us a precious opportunity to test our technology in a tier 1 city. We have a great local partner assigned to us. They helped us to understand the market, communicate with the municipality office and engage with our trial users. We cannot recommend this opportunity highly enough!‘
‘RAPTOR was an opportunity to experiment the solution and precise the business model and logistics processes’
‘RAPTOR could help us find the best teams and solutions across Europe to find solutions to our Resilient and Sustainable Urban Plan challenge’.
-Petra Dzurovčinová, Chief Innovation Officer at the City of Bratislava
The program was a very positive experience for our company. To be honest we were not expecting such effort from both EIT Urban Mobility as well as municipality representatives. We have managed to develop useful features for our products and are continuing communication and tests with the municipality.‘
